A Beautiful Off-Grid Cabin Built for Two, Pet-Friendly, and Perfect for Small Families — Popular with Our Eloping Couples.
We recommend bringing:
- Groceries and beverages
- Ground coffee for the French press
- Personal toiletries
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes
- Slippers for relaxing indoors
Everything else including bedding, towels, cookware, dishes, Wi-Fi, and kitchen essentials is provided.
Yes. Each cabin is privately situated within the forest, with its own outdoor space, fire pit, and peaceful surroundings. While the cabins are connected by walking trails, they’re thoughtfully spaced to provide a quiet and relaxing experience.
Yes. Each cabin has a private fire pit. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood, or you can pre-order campfire wood when booking your stay for $20 per bundle.
Please note that campfires are not permitted during provincial fire bans.
Lavender Cabin features a private wood-fired sauna available as an optional add-on during your stay.
Tin Poppy Cabin does not have a sauna.
Yes. Most guests have reliable cell service at both cabins, although coverage may vary depending on your carrier.
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome. We ask that pets are supervised, kept off the beds and furniture, and cleaned up after. There is a $25 pet fee that you can add to your reservation during booking.
Yes. We provide cozy duvets, cotton sheets, pillows and bath towels for your stay
Yes. Each cabin has a propane barbecue located on the deck or porch for outdoor cooking. Propane is provided.
Both cabins feature fully equipped kitchens with everything you’ll need to prepare meals, including:
- Propane oven and stovetop
- Pots and pans
- Dishes, glassware, and serving ware
- Cutlery and cooking utensils
- Mixing bowls and basic cooking tools
- Dish soap
- French press coffee maker (please bring your favourite ground coffee)
- Salt & pepper
- Complimentary tea
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in both Lavender Cabin and Tin Poppy Cabin.
Yes. Both cabins have electricity powered by our solar energy system. You’ll be able to charge phones and laptops and enjoy the comforts of a modern cabin while minimizing your environmental footprint.
Yes. Both Lavender Cabin and Tin Poppy Cabin have running hot and cold running water. Lavender has 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower.
Poppy Cabin has a toilet room + sink and a private outdoor shower equipped with hot water on demand.
Lavender Cabin and Tin Poppy Cabin are powered by the sun using solar energy. Unlike our off-grid glamping cabins, these cabins offer modern comforts including electricity, running water, and Wi-Fi, while still allowing you to enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by nature.
