This spacious, solar-powered timber-frame cabin sleeps up to 10 guests, and was handcrafted from trees milled directly on the property. This off-grid cabin has welcomed families, girls’ getaways, hiking groups, ski weekends, and friends looking to reconnect in nature.
This spacious, solar-powered cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring a large fully equipped kitchen, generous indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and seating for shared meals and connection. After a day of cross-country skiing at Larch Hills Nordic ski trails or exploring the onsite private trail network, unwind by the fire or settle into your private wood-fired sauna.
Although Lavender Cabin is an off-grid, solar-powered cabin, you’ll enjoy all the comforts of a traditional vacation home. The cabin is powered by a robust solar system, providing electricity, complimentary Wi-Fi, and two full bathrooms with hot and cold running water. What are the sleeping arrangements at Lavender Cabin?
Lavender Cabin sleeps up to 10 guests, making it ideal for families, group getaways and private retreats in the Shuswap. The cabin features a king bed in a private bedroom, a queen bed and double bed in a shared bedroom, and two double futons in a separate living area. All bedding, linens and towels are provided for your stay.
What kitchen amenities are included at Lavender Cabin?
Lavender Cabin features a spacious country kitchen fully equipped for preparing and sharing meals with family and friends. The kitchen includes a propane stove and oven, a full-size fridge and freezer, reverse-osmosis drinking water, cookware, pots and pans, dishes and glassware for up to 10 guests, plus complimentary tea, salt and pepper. Just outside, you’ll find a propane BBQ on the back deck, making it easy to enjoy outdoor cooking surrounded by the forest.
How many bathrooms does Lavender Cabin have?
Lavender Cabin has two full indoor bathrooms with hot and cold running water, making it comfortable for groups of up to 10 guests. A seasonal outdoor shower is also available during the warmer months. Bath towels, and face cloths are provided. Please bring your own personal toiletries.
Does Lavender Cabin have a private wood-fired sauna?
Yes, Lavender Cabin has its own private wood-fired sauna surrounded by the forest. Sauna use is available as a $30 add-on and includes firewood and sauna towels. Sauna availability may be affected by seasonal fire restrictions.
Is Lavender Cabin pet-friendly?
