At the heart of the cabin is a beautifully restored 1953 vintage mobile home, thoughtfully enclosed within a spacious screened structure that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living. Vintage appliances, retro lighting, comfortable gathering spaces, and Wi-Fi create the perfect balance of nostalgia and convenience. The open-concept screened room is where guests naturally gather to share long dinners, play games, sip morning coffee, and spend unhurried evenings surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest.

Days are best spent exploring more than 14 kilometres of private hiking trails right from your doorstep, relaxing around the large campfire pit, or harvesting fresh herbs from the little garden outside the cabin before preparing dinner together. It’s an unforgettable glamping BC experience that families and groups return to year after year.

Tin Poppy Cabin is powered by energy from the sun. It has all the comforts of a modern home, including electric lights, hot and cold running water, a full kitchen, and standard household appliances.

Tin Poppy Cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests.

  • Private bedroom: One queen-size bed and one single bed.
  • Dining area: The dinette converts into a queen-size bed.
  • Screened-in living space: One double futon.

All bedding, linens, and pillows are provided for your stay.

 

Tin Poppy Cabin is heated by a propane fireplace. Simply flip the switch to enjoy instant warmth and a cozy atmosphere.

Please note that the fireplace heats only the vintage mobile home portion of the cabin. The surrounding screened-in living and dining space is unheated, allowing you to enjoy the fresh outdoor air while staying sheltered from the elements.

Tin Poppy Cabin features a fully equipped kitchenette with a propane stove and oven, fridge/freezer, sink, and all the cookware, dishes, utensils, pots, and pans you’ll need for your stay.

Salt, pepper, and a French press for making coffee are provided. Please bring your own groceries, including cooking oil.

There is a BBQ on the back deck, propane is provided.

Tin Poppy Cabin has an indoor powder room with a flush toilet and sink. Just steps outside the main building, you’ll find a private outdoor shower with hot water on demand.

Towels are provided. Please bring your own personal toiletries.

Campfire wood is available for purchase at $20 per bundle. You’re also welcome to bring your own clean, untreated firewood, provided there are no local fire restrictions in effect.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $25 per pet, per day. To help us keep the cabin comfortable for all guests, please keep pets off the furniture and bedding, and clean up after them during your stay.
