Formerly known as our Lavender, Wild Rose and Tin Poppy cabin elopements, our all inclusive cabin elopement packages in BC are designed for adventurous couples who want to escape to the mountains and celebrate in a way that feels true to them. Nestled between Salmon Arm and Enderby in the beautiful Larch Hills, choose from any of our four private, pet-friendly cabins and spend your wedding exploring 14 km of private hiking and snowshoeing trails, relaxing in a wood-fired sauna (at Lavender, Violet, and Wild Rose), or discovering the nearby Larch Hills cross-country ski network. These packages are for the true elopers—the runaways, the wild hearts, the lovers and free spirits who would rather invest in a lifetime of adventures than a single day of tradition.

Formerly known as the Tin Poppy Retreat’s Lavender Micro Wedding package, our Tin Poppy Micro Wedding package in BC is designed for the wallflower couple who wants a beautiful, meaningful wedding without the drama of a larger celebration. Tucked into the Larch Hills between Salmon Arm and Enderby, it’s a relaxed wedding retreat where you can slow down, gather around Lavender Cabin’s 10-foot farmhouse table, and celebrate your way. Host your own family-style barbecue or choose one of our trusted local caterers, then spend the weekend exploring our private hiking trails, unwinding in a wood-fired sauna, and getting to know your new, extended family. FYI the lavender will be in full bloom, late June and into July!

Emerald Hall is Tin Poppy Retreat’s most complete wedding package, designed for couples who want a beautiful, stress-free, all-inclusive forest wedding venue in BC. Tucked into the Larch Hills between Salmon Arm and Enderby, it’s a place where you can be a guest at your own wedding. Exchange your vows beneath the trees, gather around a long-table dinner with your favourite people, then as the evening settles in, the disco ball starts to spin, mint juleps and rusty nails begin to flow, and the dance floor comes alive beneath the vines and stars. Wander back to the Lavender Cabin for late-night pizza and more celebrating or sneak back to your private cabin in the woods. We don’t really know what happens, we just know people love it.

A licensed BC Marriage Commissioner is included to legally perform your wedding ceremony. Your commissioner will also attend a brief rehearsal the evening before, helping ensure your ceremony feels relaxed, organized, and stress-free on your wedding day.
Bridal Bouquet and Boutonnières
Seasonal bridal flowers and/or boutonnières are included and thoughtfully designed to complement your wedding aesthetic. We source blooms from local flower farms whenever possible and incorporate sustainably harvested greenery from Tin Poppy Retreat, creating natural arrangements inspired by the beauty of the Shuswap Highlands.
Grazing Table and Reception Dinner

We offer all-inclusive BC elopement packages, intimate cabin micro weddings and fully hosted micro weddings at Emerald Hall. Our packages range from private celebrations for two to forest weddings with up to 25 guests.
Tin Poppy weddings are intimate celebrations with a maximum of 25 guests. Smaller elopement and cabin wedding packages have lower capacities depending on the cabin and reception space.
Depending on the package, inclusions may include planning and styling, a decorated ceremony area, seating, a BC marriage commissioner, professional photography, seasonal flowers, a wedding cake, dinner, reception setup and teardown. Each package page lists its exact inclusions.
Yes. Accommodation is included with all of our standard wedding and elopement packages, including our Emerald Hall micro wedding package. Our Emerald Hall Pop-Up package is the exception. It was designed primarily for local couples who do not require overnight accommodation.
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own photographer, hairstylist, musician or other wedding vendors, provided they carry commercial liability insurance. For our Emerald Hall pop-up micro wedding package, we use our regular caterer, who knows the venue setup and timeline, but you’re welcome to choose your other vendors. We take care of decorating the hall, although you may bring your own cake, bouquet, boutonnières and personal décor items.
Absolutely.
We’re a pet-friendly wedding venue, and well-behaved dogs are welcome to be included in your ceremony, wedding photos, and celebration.
Yes.
Guests may bring trailers, camper vans, or camping gear for extra privacy and space provided your total guest count remains within your package limits.
Because Tin Poppy Retreat operates primarily on solar power, we do not offer RV hookups or serviced campsites. All trailers and camper vans must be fully self-contained.

By focusing on complete wedding experiences rather than venue-only rentals, we’re able to provide a consistently beautiful and stress-free celebration for every couple.
Couples booking our Emerald Hall Wedding or Tin Poppy Micro Wedding enjoy exclusive use of Tin Poppy Retreat for the duration of their celebration.
For elopements, another couple may occasionally be celebrating elsewhere on our 160-acre property. Ceremony locations are thoughtfully separated to ensure complete privacy.
Tin Poppy Retreat is an outdoor wedding venue, rain or shine. For Emerald Hall weddings, if there’s heavy rain, your ceremony can be moved indoors to Emerald Hall. If the rain is expected to pass, we’re happy to wait it out, or many couples simply embrace the moment with umbrellas. We’ll work with you to choose the best option for your day.
Rain simply becomes part of the adventure.
Our Emerald Hall Wedding and Emerald Hall Pop-Up packages include catering.
Our Tin Poppy Micro Wedding package allows you to hire your favourite caterer, choose from our recommended caterers, or prepare your own meal.
Music at Emerald Hall concludes at 11:00 p.m.
After 11:00 p.m., you’re welcome to continue celebrating at Lavender Cabin. We simply ask everyone to respect the peaceful atmosphere of the retreat and our neighbours.
Our most popular dates between May and October often book 12 to 18 months in advance.
We recommend reserving your preferred date as early as possible.
Yes.
Emerald Hall and Lavender Cabin both include Bluetooth speakers, making it easy to connect your own playlists throughout your celebration.
Every wedding is inspired by the season.
We prioritize locally grown flowers from nearby flower farms whenever possible, along with natural greenery gathered from the retreat.
You’re welcome to share your colour palette and inspiration, and we’ll create a romantic nature-inspired design that reflects your vision while celebrating what’s naturally in bloom.
A non-refundable deposit secures your wedding date.
The remaining balance is typically paid in two installments approximately six months and two months before your wedding. Flexible payment schedules are available whenever possible.
If alcohol will be served during an Emerald Hall Wedding or Tin Poppy Micro Wedding, you’ll need to obtain a BC Special Event Permit.
Special Event Permits are not required for our intimate elopement packages.

Tin Poppy Retreat carries the venue insurance required for weddings held on the property.
Outside vendors are responsible for carrying their own liability insurance.
