Tin Poppy Retreat is home to four private off-grid cabins on 160 acres of forest in BC. Each cabin is thoughtfully spaced approximately a 5–10 minute walk from the next, offering plenty of privacy while exploring the trail network. Yes! Each cabin has its own private fire pit. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood or pre-order campfire wood for $20 per bundle. Please note that campfires are not permitted during provincial fire bans.

Our three year-round cabins each feature a private wood-fired sauna: Lavender Cabin Violet Cabin Wild Rose Cabin Tin Poppy Cabin does not have a sauna.

We recommend bringing: Groceries and beverages Ground coffee for the French press Personal toiletries Weather-appropriate clothing Hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes Slippers for relaxing indoors Bug spray if you’re visiting in spring and early summer Headlamp or flashlight for late night outhouse adventures if you’re staying at one of our unplugged cabins. Yes. Each cabin is privately situated within the forest, with its own outdoor space, fire pit, and peaceful surroundings. While the cabins are connected by walking trails, they’re thoughtfully spaced to provide a quiet and relaxing experience.

Yes. Each cabin has a private fire pit. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood, or you can pre-order campfire wood when booking your stay for $20 per bundle. Please note that campfires are not permitted during provincial fire bans.

Lavender Cabin features a private wood-fired sauna available as an optional add-on during your stay. Tin Poppy Cabin does not have a sauna.

Yes. Most guests have reliable cell service at both cabins, although coverage may vary depending on your carrier.

Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome. We ask that pets are supervised, kept off the beds and furniture, and cleaned up after. There is a $25 pet fee that you can add to your reservation during booking.

Yes. We provide cozy duvets, cotton sheets, pillows and bath towels for your stay
