At Tin Poppy Retreat, all of our cabins are off-grid, meaning they are not connected to the public electrical or water utility systems. Instead, they operate independently and offer a more sustainable, nature-focused getaway.

Solar Off-Grid Cabins
Our Tin Poppy and Lavender cabins are solar-powered and combine the independence of off-grid living with many modern comforts, including electricity, running water, and the conveniences most guests are familiar with.

Unplugged Off-Grid Cabins
Our Violet and Wild Rose cabins offer a more traditional cabin-in-the-woods experience. These unplugged off-grid cabins have no electricity or running water, relying instead on propane lighting and appliances, wood heat, and fresh drinking water provided in 5-gallon jugs. You’ll also enjoy the charm of a private outhouse and a rustic camp-style outdoor shower, creating a simple, peaceful escape that encourages you to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with nature.
