At Tin Poppy Retreat, every cabin is off-grid—but there are two very different ways to experience it.

If you’d like to wake up surrounded by nature without giving up everyday comforts, our solar-powered cabins are a wonderful fit. You’ll enjoy electricity, running water, and the ease of modern conveniences, all while living lightly on the land.

If you’re drawn to a slower pace, our unplugged off-grid cabins offer something a little rarer. The Violet and Wild Rose cabins have no electricity or running water. These cabins aren’t about doing without—they’re about experiencing more: more stars, more birdsong, more time around the fire, and more moments that don’t revolve around a screen.

“Whichever cabin you choose, you’ll have complete privacy, access to over 14 km of private hiking trails, and the freedom to settle into the forests of Larch Hills between Salmon Arm and Enderby. The Lavender, Violet, and Wild Rose cabins each include their own private wood-fired sauna.”
